The last few days have been full of emotions and there was literally no time to breathe you guys! I guess that’s the way it is when you are on holidays, right? I’ve been trying to write a blog post since I reached Dubai but time went by so fast and here I am, writing this post while listening to Ed Sheeran on the plane, leaving for my next destination. I have so much to write about Dubai but I’m afraid it might be too long for this blog post! But one thing is for sure: this trip has been one of the most amazing so far and certainly up to the level of my expectations (in fact even more).
The mere thought that the city has been built on the desert sounds extremely impressive to me, not to mention the iconic skyscrapers! If you’ve been following my snap stories these days, you know what I’m talking about! Let me just start with my first day which has been overwhelming: from touring old Dubai to Jumeirah, Dubai Marina and ending with the desert safari, it was one heck of a day! The cool thing about this city is that you don’t need lots of days to visit everywhere, six days would be more than enough; the key is to plan your days in advance and book all your tickets of the places you want to visit prior to the trip.
The people are nice, the weather is good (I hardly felt the intense heat as almost everywhere was air conditioned) and the places are breathtaking; what more would you want during your holidays? The remaining days were equally packed with activities, we visited the Burj Khalifa, Atlantis, Madinah Jumeirah, Mall of Emirates, Dubai mall, Dubai aquarium, the underwater zoo, the dancing fountain, dubai dolphinarium and we’ve been cruising across the city again and this time, on a dhow while having a buffet dinner, admiring the spectacular view at night in one of the busiest metropolis in the world. The thing about Dubai is that, it comes to life at night! This is the time when you would see most people outside. It’s a vibrant atmosphere which inspires you to make the most and enjoy every moment! The night life is simply outstanding!
This is just of summary of what I did during the five days I spent in Dubai. It’s definitely not a goodbye to this incredible and luxurious city, just ‘see you soon Dubai!’ as I will be back there again in the future! For now, I’m just leaving with tons of beautiful memories which will stay forever! There’s only 55 minutes left before the plane lands to my next destination and I’m excited about this one too! I got 15 more days of adventures; let’s see what surprises await! By the time you read this, I’ll be already out there exploring other places probably.
For now check out these photos I took at Dubai Marina and Jumeirah beach, wearing this trendy off-the-shoulder dress from SheIn. I love how comfy and cute it looks! I paired it with a hat and earrings. Nothing crazy about this look as it was more about staying comfortable while going around! I’m currently obsessed with off-the-shoulder outfits! I’ll try to post on the blog as soon as I have some spare time! Till then, join me on snapchat and instagram for some fun discoveries (username: huntature)!
Love you all! Xoxo
