New Beginnings

New Beginnings

Hey loves,

I hope life is treating you well. It’s been a while since I last connected with you all. You must have noticed that I’ve been posting only sponsored posts lately and well, there is a multitude of reasons why I’ve been doing so. I’m going to share it all with you in this blog post. It’s crazy how life throws you in different situations and in just a split of time, everything has changed. If I compare today with how my life was one year back, comparisons can hardly be made.

You must be familiar with this quote: Once in a lifetime, you meet someone who changes everything. This is exactly what happened to me and today I find myself in this very cozy apartment in Ireland, writing this blog post while waiting for the man of my life to come back home. It’s been two and half month since we got legally married. I left behind my comfort zone and the exotic island life in Mauritius for a new start in Ireland. It’s true that I do miss home but my husband does everything he can for us to be happy and I feel like the luckiest girl. I’m grateful for all the love and for these new beginnings.

Change is really challenging and I’m constantly on learning mode here; trying to cope with the new environment, new climate, new people and new accent (I still get stuck with some words said in Irish accent lol). Overall, I try to stay positive and do the best I can to adapt to these situations with the support of the love of my life. Of course, there are ups and downs and life is not always perfect. I’m learning to be more proactive and I remain open to changes for a better life. Another reason why I’ve not been posting much on my blog as well as the social media is because I took some time to re-assess how I want my blog to be and what message I want to spread. The point is I don’t want to display fakeness and superficiality in any way. I will go more in detail about this in my next blog post :).

Look of the day

For now, let me talk about this ruffle one-shoulder bodycon dress which I received from Rosegal. We can never have enough little black dresses, right girlies? I love the ruffle detail which catches the attention along with the white stripes. The fabric is soft and the length of the dress is perfect for me. I paired it with my black ankle boots and opted for a blue eyeshadow to match my accessories from GoSparkling, gifted by my husband. It’s a set of tensity white gold plated with tanzanite crystals from Swarovski. I’m also wearing my wedding diamond ring which enhances the whole look. I think no other ring is required whenever I wear it as it’s so imposing and eye-catching. I just love it!

I look forward to writing more blog posts to tell you about my journey and the lessons I’m learning along the way. Stay connected! Lots of love xoxo
