Last December has been a super exciting month with lots of interactions over dinners and gatherings during the festivities. On this first week of January 2016, the fun is still going on and I have started to feel kind of overdosed with the rich meals, drinks, creamy desserts and also wearing make-up so often. I felt like cutting off with all these for a while by getting indulged in Nature. There is nothing better than Mother Nature to calm down the body system and just be at peace.
Starting the year with a ‘Nature detox’ is my way of beginning 2016 on the right foot. I usually feel the urge of spending time with myself or simply with the closest person to me to feel unplugged from the world. It is a way to boost myself and get ready for future interactions (be it work or social events). In this way, I know I can give my best in whatever I will be doing in the coming days. As a nature lover, being around the woods, the sea and mountains make me feel at peace with myself and calm down the inner voices in my mind. That’s why I chose a road trip in Nature, away from the hustle and bustle of the city life and just breathing some fresh air. Walking on the beach, contemplating the sky and the sceneries, taking me into another world where it feels like heaven.
I wish that everyone experienced nature in this way! Sometimes we just need the simplest things in life to make us happy. Nature is wonderful and anyone can learn to appreciate its beauty and make the most of it. For me, it’s the best break which really makes me feel alive again. I’m so thankful for all these simple things of life which have the capacity of amazing benefits to the mind and body. I highly recommend anyone in need of some peace of mind to spend quality time in Nature (alone or with someone close to you) and see the wonders it does. Just like true love, Nature is here to give us that unconditional support we all need.
