Perfect skin doesn’t come overnight for sure! It definitely requires a good skin care routine but most importantly what you are putting in your stomach matters to a great extent. What is getting inside reflects on the outside. Nowadays, with the internet and other forms of media constantly educating the society, people have started to be more conscious about what they are consuming. That’s a great thing!

We should all make healthy choices when it comes to the food we eat. Ditch the usual fast foods and the processed foods whose ingredients look like alien languages to us. Of course, gorgeous skin also needs some good habits such as fitness, enough sleep, wearing SPF, wiping off make-up and washing the face at night. If like me, you are one of those who are eating the trend, then you should definitely not stop! Avocados and almonds are full of good fats, vitamins and minerals which can do wonders to the skin, leaving it hydrated with a clear complexion and burgeoning blood flow.

The effects of the sun can be devastating to your skin; there’s nothing new about that. The eternal question is: how to counteract these negative effects? Be thankful that tomatoes exist! They are packed with healthy nutrients which will protect your skin from further damage.

You need enough greens in your body to help repair your skin cells from damage done over time and to maintain elasticity. For that you can opt for broccoli and kale. However, if you don’t get these foods on a daily basis, you can consider taking liquid chlorophyll which is an extraction of green you see in Kale and broccoli.

  1. Turmeric

This is truly a God’s gift for the skin! Known for its anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, turmeric is a miracle for the skin. If you use it over a long period of time, your skin would thank you for that. Cinnamon and ginger can also be very effective!

Berries are full of anti-oxidants and fiber- This is exactly what you need to fight wrinkles, dark spots or any signs of aging. Surely you will not see the effects immediately but your skin will love that as you grow older.
