Alter Ego

Alter Ego

I love those kind of clothes which allow you to show off some skin without revealing too much. Sometimes the outfits you wear seem to affect the way you respond to things around you. I kind of had this feeling while wearing this lace up bodysuit and the floral pencil skirt. It must be because I ditched my usual girly chic style to something sexier and bolder. I’m completely in love with the unflinching touch the choker adds to any outfit. It is the small detail that makes the whole difference!

This look triggers a different side of my personality. There is one side of me who is the shy, almost-passive and sweet girl and another side of me which is more daring, assertive and loud. As you can figure out, both sides are totally in contrast to each other. I believe we never really stay the same throughout life. Personalities are sometimes so complex to understand. One thing is certain though, circumstances lead to major changes in people. In some situations, the person remains the same while developing an alter ego to handle certain issues. I’ve met quite a few people like this who are completely different when they are in other environments. It’s quite normal I guess, especially for introverts.

Over the years, I’ve also developed my alter ego as I realized that I can’t always be the sweet and shy girl. The other side of me shows up when I’m outside my comfort zone where I need to be full of confidence and act with assertiveness despite the fact that my heart might be racing inside. Having worked as a press journalist really helped me in doing that as I was always on the go and had to deal with all kind of public issues. There was no way that I could be the sweet girl I am at home. It has been a major transition period for me and I struggled to bring out the daring side of me. I should admit that it now helps me to be fearless and leads me to great outcomes. As you know, the magic always take place outside the comfort circle. It allows me to think outside the box and live my passions fully!

Coming back to this bold style, I should admit that it was a bit Kim-Kardashian-inspired as I love her style (not more than Kendall’s style though). As I explained in one of my previous blog posts, my style usually depends on my mood and it occasionally happens that I feel like going for a sexier style without being too revealing. Leaving a little mystery is always fun! What I love about this look is also the nice ear jacket I recently bought! It really adds that classy touch which makes it all appealing.

I hope you like this blog post. Thank you so much for reading loves! Check out the photos below ^^
