Christmas is at the door! I can’t believe that this year has gone so fast and we are already in the last two weeks of 2015; rushing here and there to do the last shopping and preparing to celebrate. This is my favorite period of the year as the festive mood is everywhere. Love and joy can be felt with people buying gifts for one another and some of them busy organizing end of year parties. Sometimes you might even have multiple parties to attend and it certainly requires some prep works in terms of outfits, accessories and shoes.
Here is a selection of five best outfit ideas which suits all this Christmas & end of year fun!
- Sequins for a bit of bling
Sequins definitely bring you to that festive mood instantly. Nothing better than sequins to revive that party animal in you. However make sure not to overdo it to avoid shining like a Christmas tree yourself. You may go with a gold or black sequin skirt or shorts with a plain top. A sequin top with a plain midi or pencil skirt is also a good idea. All these matched up with a nice pair of heel and accessories.
- RED of course
Red is surely the main color of Christmas. Even Santa wears red and looks stunningly cute in it! Try a red lace dress with nude lace up heels which are very trendy these days. Don’t forget to add a nice clutch and accessories to finish the look.
- Jumpsuits to look classy without much effort
Jumpsuits is always a great option to look elegant and classy without adding too much of layers. Jumpsuit works perfectly on its own, along with great heels and minimal accessories. You might even seize the opportunity to go for a red jumpsuit on the occasion because hey, it’s Christmas!
- Our savior: The Little Black dress
This one comes as no surprise since we all know the little black dress works on every occasion! Just need to find the one which suits your style, add up your accessories (I usually go with gold accessories with this outfit) and of course the heels, and here you go!
- A statement skirt to stand out
A statement skirt can be very stylish if you know how to combine it with the right top. You may opt for a pleated skirt, a bold color midi skirt or even a tutu skirt like Carrie Bradshaw to be more daring. Depending on the color, choose a nice top to match it, preferably a simple one as we’ll let the skirt steal the limelight here!
